Discovery Process requires "databasemachine.xml" file on the compute node with all the information of Exadata Components without which the discovery will fail.

  • Naveen, that is true. At around the 3m 15s mark of the video I mention that the "database machine schema XML file" will be examined, but did not name the file or mention that it must exist for discovery to succeed.
