  • Chen (Gwen) Shapira studied computer science, statistics and operations research at the University of Tel Aviv, and then went on to spend the next 10 years in different technical positions in the IT industry. Chen is an Oracle Certified Professional, currently working as a senior Oracle DBA for Pythian and specializes in scalability and high-availability solutions such as RAC and Streams. She's board member of North California Oracle User Group and has presented at number of conferences.
