About this Application

This application highlights the native calendaring capabilities of Oracle Application Express. It features the CSS Calendar component which provides monthly, weekly or daily calendars with stylized tasks. The dates can be changed using forms, dialogs or drag and drop, which is all declarative and easily created using native Application Express wizards. Advanced developers can use custom Javascript code and the jQuery FullCalendar API to fully exploit all calendar capabilities.

Use this application to familiarize yourself with the Calendar component, the combination with Dynamic Actions or how to apply custom Javascript code.

Getting Started

Run the application as a developer; at the bottom of the page will be buttons for viewing the page in the Application Express Application Builder. Click on the "Edit Page X" button to see how the pages are defined.
