Instruction

• Remove the values of the required fields.
• Enter invalid values for the Hire Date or the Salary.
• Or enter a hire date in the future.
• Enter a invalid date in the detail table.
• Press the Apply Changes button to "submit" them.
  • The values in the detail table are not lost if a check fails in the master, because the page isn't re-rendered as APEX would do it.
  • Instead the error message is dynamically inserted as inline field error message!
  • Maybe you also notice that the inline field error message is shorter than the one in the message area.
• Check out the cascading lov between department and manager.
