Use Management Reporting to Build a Report

In this learning path, you will use Management Reporting to build an Operating Expenses Summary report. The report will include these components:

A grid with Time Period and Scenario dimensions in the column and an Account dimension in the row

HSP_View, Year, Version, Entity, and Product dimensions in the Point of View (POV)

A chart, which uses the grid data elements

A text box, which displays static text and text function results to dynamically retrieve report metadata

The Operating Expenses Summary report you will create looks like this:

The procedures in this learning path use the Planning and Budgeting Cloud Vision Plan1 application and cube. You can use your own data source application and cube to create a similar report.

To complete this learning path, you will need access to an EPM Cloud Narrative Reporting data source connection created against the PBCS Vision application. If you do not have access to the PBCS Vision application, you can create a similar report against a different data source using the same procedures, but with different dimensions and member selection where applicable.
