Modify (or don't) the value of one or more items in the Changes Detected region.
Click a button or link in the Not Valid Exits region. If a change was made in step 1, you should be prompted to save your changes before the page refreshes. If no change was made, or if you undo your changes, you should not be prompted.
Note that you can specify which buttons or links on a page should allow a user to leave without prompting regardless of changes. Typically buttons like Create, Save, Delete, and Cancel should not prompt users. The buttons and links in the Valid Exits region demonstrate this feature.
In addition, you can specify items that should not be taken into account whether or not their values have been changed. The item in the Changes Ignored region demonstrates this feature.
