Item Types Plug-in are used to extend the built-in item types of Oracle Application Express.

You can use them in the same way as the built-in item types. They will appear in the "Create Item" wizard as well as in the "Display as" select list when you edit a page item. Based on the configuration of the plug-in, additional attributes will be displayed for the selected item type.
