Objective is to identify infrastructure assets that consume high amounts of energy and replace them with more energy-efficient components.
Our objective is to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our entire Datacentre by identifying energy-intensive IT assets and replacing them with more energy-efficient infrastructure. This initiative will not only lead to substantial power savings but also contribute to reducing the energy of the cooling in the datacentre rooms.

The initial phase involves quantifying the energy usage of various components including compute hardware, ESX clusters, storage arrays, SAN switches, and IP network assets. The data collected will be centralized in a central Datawarehouse. Development of Energy dashboards utilizing Oracle Application Express (APEX), which will provide detailed data and export capabilities. Through this process, you will be able to identify energy-intensive infrastructure assets and replace them with more energy-efficient alternatives.
