  • George Trujillo is an internationally recognized speaker and leader in the Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Virtualization and Open Source Software user communities. Achievements include serving on the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) Board of Directors, Oracle Fusion Council, and Oracle Beta Leadership Council. George has been selected as one of the IOUG's "Oracles of Oracle" as well as a Master Presenter for the IOUG's Master Series presentations. George's industry recognitions include being selected as an Oracle ACE in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Sun Ambassador for Sun Microsystem's Application Middleware Platform. Being awarded an Oracle ACE and Sun ambassador role require industry recognition, being nominated and voted in by Oracle Corporation and existing Sun Ambassadors. Few enterprise architects have George's background across the different tiers of Oracle Database Servers and Oracle Fusion Middleware. Additionally, he has established an excellent reputation in the MySQL and open source communities. George is highly requested by customers who are currently blending Oracle and open source solutions. George used his passion for technology to build one of the largest libraries of Oracle, Linux, Solaris, Java and Fusion middleware courseware in the world at Trubix Inc. He was also directly involved in the rollout of new database and middleware technologies internally in Oracle from Oracle 8.0 to Oracle 10g. His recent educational focus has been on using virtual reality platforms to deliver Oracle, Sun and MySQL training leveraging three-dimensional learning techniques. George is currently focusing on helping customers leverage solutions in the cloud and implementing virtualization solutions. For relaxation George enjoys the study of history, golf, blues/jazz, travel and understanding the little gifts given to us each day. A key goal every day is to find a way to pay it forward.
