Here you can enter options for the generation of the pipelined function.
To create a pipelined function enter the name of a table or function in the field Table Name. The names for the other objects are deducted from this name, but can be altered by editing.

The content of the field should contain of fieldnames and datatypes on separate lines like:
- SQL Workshop: Go to the Object Browser and choose the desired table or view. Download the column list to Excel by pressing the Download link. Open this download in Excel and cut the Column and Datatype columns. Paste these in the Column Definition Field
- SQL*Plus: Perform a describe of the table or view, like DESC EMP. Cut the column definitions and paste in the Column Definition field.
Preceding or trailing comma's are no problem.
You can choose whether or not to replace existing objects. When you choose to replace, the script will contain CREATE OR REPLACE statements instead of just CREATE statements.
You have the choice to create one integral script to create all the objects, or separate scripts for all the objects. The latter is usefull to have more control over the creation of the objects.
Creation of the script(s)
You can create the script(s) by pushing the button Create Script. The resulting scripts can be cut and pasted into SQL*PLus, SQL Workshop or TOAD. If you choose to use SQL Workshop generate separate scripts, because SQL Workshop allows only one SQL statement at a time.
