I have discovered that the APEX node allows applications to be drag-n-dropped directly into a Shopping Cart: totally great and time saving. I see also that individual pages are enumerated and can be right-click-scripted. Really cool and time saving. However, drag-and-drop of a page into shopping cart has no effect. It would be extra useful and time saving to allow for individual pages to be drag-and-droppable into the cart, resulting in that individual page export-scripted.
Use case: sometimes you have a pretty large application, such as a reporting portal, or an intranet general company website, where you will have pockets of activity and testing. Sometimes you need to deploy just a few pages, but you are not ready to do every group/department/whatever. In these cases whole application export will bring unready changes along that you need to leave behind, so individual page deployment is preferred.
For even more benefit, expose the application Shared Components tree as well, so you could grab a handful of pages, a new authorization scheme that they depend on, a new page template, and a new LoV, all nicely drag and dropped into the cart along with some backing view objects and a new sequence object.
