This example shows how the row header can show a sequence number. The Row Selector settings were changed to disable multi select and hide the [radio/checkbox] control. Then advanced configuration was used to enable showing a sequence number. Showing a checkbox/radio button and a sequence number are not mutually exclusive. Play around with the settings.
